Fresh from the studio we're at the Jazz Bistro this Wed, Feb. 9, at 8pm.
news + shows
We did a little prerecorded show at the legendary and newly renovated El Mocambo, as part of the City of Toronto and TD Toronto Jazz Festival's - “City of Culture” initiative highlighting different parts of the city. We got to highlight my fave - Chinatown. The concert airs on Jazz Fm 91.1 and youtube HERE on Jan.6 at 7pm
It's a concert from the safety of your own home - no riots, no viruses, no parking. Thanks to Josh @torontojazzfest, @jazzfm91 and @cityofto for having us.

Back at the Rex every Thursday in November. 5:30pm. Also had a great time filming at the El Mocambo for the TD Toronto Jazz Festival. I don't think it will be aired until the new year though.
So happy to be back at the Rex last week and the Jazz Bistro tonight. Hopefully we can keep it going!

Looking for something weird to watch/listen to during lockdown? Then may we humbly suggest the Worst Photo Booth Ever. With the support of the In The Soil Festival, The Canada Council for the Arts, as well as the Toronto and Ontario Arts councils at various stages, we put together a little video that is sure to cause some head scratching. It does feature some new music though and was done completely unrehearsed and socially distanced during that special year known as 2020. It's also exclusively available as a radioplay on our Bandcamp page, so you can download it or stream it like a podcast. You're welcome.
Another brand new video Love is for Losers
with special guests Sophia Perlman and Rebecca Hennessy. Special thanks to Matt Dusk for sound and camerawork.
In lieu of our cancelled gig tonight at the Rex and in honour of our boy, Adrean becoming a Master of something or other, we are presenting a series of short music videos we did, unrehearsed and socially distant. The first is one of his tunes, REMember, filmed and recorded by the Mighty Matt Dusk, with camera help by Terrific Tania Shia and Editing by Loose lips LEO37. Check it out here
At the beginning of the summer I asked some friends to help with a one minute educational video about active listening.
Now seemed as good a time as any to release it with tensions still on the rise across the globe (sadly, for a multitude of reasons). Here then is our effort to contribute even just a tiny bit of relief.
Many thanks to all the musicians who participated, and if you liked what you hear please think about contributing to their various music projects through Bandcamp, Itunes, Paypal. You can find more about each in the description of the video. Click here for the worst PSA Ever
You can join the experiment in story telling on Saturday, May 30 at 7pm

The WPBE gives special thanks to the
Toronto Arts Council and the Ontario Arts Council
With the cancellation of our gigs for the next few months, we took some time to record a radio play based on our Worst Photo Booth Ever concept and posted it on https://wpbe.bandcamp.com/ in hopes of raising funds for Sophia Perlman's wonderful Hornepayne Community Project which tries to connect artists and resources from Southern Ontario to under serviced communities in Northern Ontario. Be safe everyone!
